Canned tuna is a staple in my pantry. Besides being a low calorie source of protein, canned tuna also contains the benefits of vitamin B, potassium, and omega-3 fatty acids.
This tuna salad is quick to prepare and is perfect for lunch, dinner, divided and used as a side dish, or a post work-out snack. I used a store bought fat-free italian dressing for this recipe because not only is it convenient but I find it adds more flavor to this dish than plain oil and vinegar.
When shopping for italian dressings I like to get a fat free version that’s 15-20 calories per serving.
